World-renowned art duo Olly & Suzi said:
The standard of artworks depicting many of the world's endangered animals was captured with great passion and insight. Not only have these young people helped to raise awareness of these magnificent creatures; they have also raised awareness of muscle disease - a condition for which there is no cure.
We are very proud to be supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, and this inspirational art competition that continues to encourage thousands of children, regardless of their ability or disability, to draw.
Abby Mardon, Director of Communications and Marketing at the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, said:
We are thrilled that so many children around the country took part in the 23rd Young Pavement Artists Competition. Their support has helped to raise thousands of pounds to help children with muscle disease in the UK.
The judging panel included: award-winning writer and broadcaster Miranda Sawyer, Tania Hore who has muscular dystrophy, graphic artist and art director Supermundane and artist Suzi Winstanley.
